As a candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives, I believe that the strength of our communities lies in our ability to work collectively and build bridges across differences to achieve lasting and collective progress. It is an honor to run, and as a civically active resident, I appreciate and openly recognize the amazing leadership that District 2 has benefitted from. Historical context is important to me.
My platform begins with a commitment to economic sustainability, leadership best practice models, career and entrepreneurial resources, and innovative social solutions that strengthen Ohio. Together we must ensure a sustainable infrastructure that reduces environmental burdens, expands affordable and reliable transportation so residents can access jobs and services, explores innovative housing solutions, and supports comprehensive health that includes preventative, maternal, and mental health options.
These goals require collaboration between local leaders, state agencies, and community stakeholders. This also includes stronger investment in English as a Second Language (ESL) programs to support new Americans and multilingual families, as well as resources for entrepreneurs and educators to close opportunity gaps. I believe in policies that address the broader systems that impact daily life.
By building coalitions that cross sectors and neighborhoods, we can uplift families, strengthen our economy, and ensure every voice is represented in the legislative process. Together, through symbiotic work and partnership, we can create a future that is prosperous for everyone.
